Pre-school nursery in Mumbles
Mes Enfants is a private pre-school and nursery for children aged 0 - 5 years old. We aim to encourage the progressive development of your children in a fun and secure environment.
Our premises
Our premises have the perfect seafront location opposite Verdi’s ice cream parlour, near to playground amenities, to which the staff frequently take the children.
Security is a paramount feature when you enter the nursery, with access gained using an exterior security camera. Once inside, you cannot fail to be impressed by the surroundings, which have been designed to provide the right environment for stimulating play and learning, an essential factor to the Montessori principle of teaching and Foundation Phase. To give you an example, pictures and prints have been chosen for their line, shape and colour composition to foster interest in a child’s mind. Toys, equipment and activities encourage stimulation of all the senses and children are always encouraged to lead play, learning and activity!
The three-storey building is perfect for small, intimate groups of children in each room. There are seven structured playrooms that feed the natural exploration interests of children- Adventure, Creative, Puzzle, Reading/Music, Role-Play, Reflection and the Baby Room. You will be pleasantly surprised when you see the exciting range of equipment, toys and furniture available for your child. All the rooms are amazing and the visual effects are constantly changed and updated so that they will entertain children and keep a child’s mind alight not only with its decoration but the equipment stored within! Children move amongst the rooms and will often visit 4-5 rooms each day! This is proven to be far more stimulating for the children. The children will always visit different rooms each week as the staff follow a three-week rolling programme. We fully support the 30 hour free childcare offer, available for children aged 3-4.
